1. Who we are
Searly is a personal recipe management application. When you use Searly, your data is processed solely to provide the service to you.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service:
- Account information: your email address, collected when you sign up via Supabase Auth.
- Recipe data: recipes, ingredients, cookbooks, and other content you create within the app.
- Usage data: we do not currently use any analytics or tracking cookies.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to provide and maintain your account and recipe collection. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data processor
Your data is stored and processed by Supabase, which acts as our data processor. Supabase stores data on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services. For Supabase's data processing terms, see their Privacy Policy.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data (“right to erasure”). You can do this from the Settings page within the app.
- Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, use the account deletion option in Settings or contact us directly.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
